Frequently Asked Questions (FAQs)

How do I know which digiTop fits my console?

Pick your console from the Mixer picker (right above the Quantity picker).

Each digiTop is cut to one console's meter bridge profile ā€” the platform is the same across every model, only the legs change.

If you run a rack-mounted Allen & Heath SQ, choose the SQ rack version; it accounts for the 11.4Ā° angle.

Yamaha owners: the DM7, DM7 EX, DM7 Compact and DM7 EX Compact share a profile, so the single Yamaha DM7 option fits all four. The DM7 Control is the only exception as it isn't wide enough to carry a digiTop.

Do I need one or two?

One digiTop gives you a single 9 x 9 in surface ā€” enough for a laptop, a tablet or one nearfield. Buy the Pair if you want two working zones, or if you're putting nearfields on both sides of the board.

Does it need tools, straps or clamps to install?

No. Fold the supports out and set it on the meter bridge. Nothing attaches to the console, nothing is modified, and it comes off as fast as it goes on.

How does it travel?

The supports fold flat against the platform, so it packs like a thin board ā€” a backpack, a rack drawer or the lid pocket of a console case.

My console isn't on the list. Can I still get one?

Tell us what you're mixing on. Every console we support exists because an engineer asked for it and someone with that board let us measure ā€” that's how every version after the initial DiGiCo 338 one happened.
